No Fun Being Alone

Mommy and daddy have been staying over at granny's house since she fell ill and we are left all alone most times nowadays. How we wish mommy and daddy have one of those fancy motorhomes then when they stay at granny's home, we can all come along. We so hate to be home alone. Smokey have been so noisy and Awan has gone crazy with the newspaper mommy left the other day. I have not been having any peace and quiet at all. It has not been fun!

All About Persian Cats

As you know, I currently have five cats, four are Persian Cats, namely Minnie, Nina, Aggie, Smokey, and last but definitely not least is, a Balinese cat that we named Awan which also means Cloud because she is so white.

Being the owner of five cats is definitely no easy job especially since four of them are over 8years. They are like human beings too because they get sick, they get cranky and they need a proper health care to make sure they always healthy and fit.

Persian Cats in particular are not too easy breed. Yes, they are all fluffy and beautiful to look at but that only means they need constant grooming to make sure that all the dead furs are removed so that they don't get matted and cause problems to the underlying skin. However, if done right, you'll be rewarded with the soft and fluffy fur that you and your kitty can both enjoy.

Temperament wise, for my Persian cats, are varied. Nina loves to be alone but when the mood strikes, she would follow me everywhere till you stroke and carry her. Smokey is playful and though loves to be stroked, refused to be cuddled at. Minnie does not like us to hold her too much. She likes to sit near us though. Aggie, well that princess loves to carried all around. I even carry her when I'm vacuuming and cooking!

When all is said and done, I love my fur-kids and they are my pride and joy and I treat them just like I would if I had kids and that is also why I love visiting sites like Cat Channel to get all the information on cats. The site not only give details on different breeds of cats but also has awesome products that has me (and my kitties) going "Wow! This thing is awesome!" or "Wow, what a great idea for a cats". In fact, I just signed up for their newsletter and can't wait for our first issue!

What Are They Eating?

Me and mommy was going through diet pill reviews when she commented how big and fat all my furkids are and asked what I'm feeding them. Each time she comes to visit and see the furkids, she would always comment the same thing especially when she compares them to her own kitty, Baby.

Baby is around 12years old and have been losing weight over this few months. The doctors is not sure of what is wrong with him especially since he is eating very well. It is also because of that, they are not willing to do any test on him for fear of triggering something else. So they put him on vitamins and told my mom to monitor his condition.

We are still monitoring and hopes for the best :)

Oh Aggie

Aggie has this bad habit of peeing outside her litter bin. What happens is that her front legs would go into the bin but her hind legs would be on the edge of the bin and so you so can imagine where her bottom is right? So what happens next? Her pee would be all over the tile flooring! Each time I see her does that, I would push her in and she's totally ok with it but nothing would change as she still does it all the time!

Wash Basin Would Be Nice

You know what would be awesome to have in the kitty room? A double sink with one of those bar faucets. Sometimes, when I'm in there doing the cleaning, I need to wash my hands before doing anything to the kitties, like cleaning their eyes or simply just touching them. I mean I won't want to hold them right after I handled the litter bin and I definitely don't want to play with them first when the litter bin is dirty and stinky... so a nice wash basin would be nice for sure..

Blue Tooth?

The only tooth I know is the one in my mouth and I don't have many of them and from what I can see.. they are white though some are slightly yellowish. I am not a spring chicken so I'm sure you can understand that.. hehe..

So imagine my surprise when mommy told daddy that she needed a bluetooth something.. I think it was a Bluetooth headset or something like that.. what kind of tooth is blue and requires headset? Is there a talking blue tooth out there. I guess though I am a "woman" cat, I still have so much to learn about the human world...Sigh!

What They Don't Need

One thing the kitties in my household don't need are hair supplements. As it is, they've got to be groomed at least three times a week so that their fur don't get matted and cause problems with the underlying skin. They've also got to be frequently combed so that they don't swallow those fur that can cause hairball complications.

Sigh.. the joy of being parents to fur kids.. lol!
